for love's sake

don't make it fake

a kiss by the lake

or you baking me a cake

real together we would make

instead I got a snake

and a mind's awake

my life crumbles in flake

the high all my stake 

I have to get to myself with a shake

and hard press on the brake

from my deep slumber I should wake
