I am a little bit pissed today...I will explain you why, one by one...Today I took my truck to a dealership/service center for oil change and an error I am getting from one of my front parking sensors..it just won't shut up...this is not an old second hand truck its brand new 2024 model but I bought it new..one year ago...so I just wanted to replace the sensor or whatever because its going to pass its warranty and I don't want to pay it out of my pocket...So I took an appointment from the dealership and talked with the guy in the front desk...I told him that last time I brought my car to them and asked the same thing and they have not checked it saying it would take too much time and I have to bring my car another time...So I didn't give them any chance to duck this time..So he asked me questions and said look if this is due to a faulty sensor, they can replace it under the warranty...although if this is due to a damage related to the wires connecting the sensor it will cost me 250$ to change the wires. I asked him to call me if it comes to that and if I need to change the wires...no call and about an hour later they called me/messaged me that my vehicle is ready...anyway I went back to get my vehicle...the guy told me that they have tested the vehicle on road and saw that the error is showing and hooked up the vehicle to the computer to find the error listing...they said that they confirmed the error but the error is due to a chip on the front window where the road camera is...and because they have done this they add extra 280 $ extra charge and the error is still there...I said are you going to charge me for a problem that you didn't solve? I said first of all you didn't call me about required extra charges you didn't change the wires of the sensor and you simply hooked up the computer and get some error codes than you ask additionally 280$ for a problem you have not solved...I told them I will pay but will never bring business to them again..then they called a gal and she removed some charges and said we cannot remove any charges related to work time...a work time that did not solve my problem...what is more frustrating is that they could easily remove 140 $ charges just like that because I complained...I am 100% sure they were lying on the chip on the glass and why I have the error.. and will file a complaint on the brand they are representing not only in Canada but also the originating country center of the brand...
